World Championships Verona 2004

If you want to become a pro bike racer with the qualities of Oscar Freire: try the circuit of the 2004 World Championships in the Italian city of Verona. It was also in Verona that Freire won his first rainbowjersey, in 1999. Start at the Piazza Bra in the heart of this marvellous city and climb over the Viale dei Colli and the GP Torricelle to the highest point of the circuit. The descent is scary fast but it drops you right in the historic centre of Verona again. Try to complete 18 loops, 265 kilometre is the exact length of the 2004 World Championships.
